Inspired by central London’s billboards during the Corona Virus Lockdown.
Advertising ceased and existing billboards began to peel and fade, leaving behind nostalgic hints of what was “before”. The unused billboard spaces often left almost no figurative traces of advertising campaigns, but our eyes meander looking for recognisable features and patterns, text and meaning.
